Suspect arrested again for Beuningse 'mistaken'

Last Friday, a 30-year-old man with no permanent residence or residence was already arrested. He reported himself after broadcasts of, among others, Opsporing Verzocht and regional investigation programs. He has been brought before the examining magistrate and will remain in prison for another two weeks. Both suspects are in restrictions and are only allowed to have contact with their lawyer.

After 49-year-old Mehment Kilicsoy was shot dead in broad daylight in Beuningen, Gelderland on 6 July, the investigation team came to the conclusion that everything indicates that the perpetrators have shot the wrong person. Last week, images were shown of four cars that were involved and a possible person involved could be seen on camera images. It resulted in 10 tips.

Three other suspects have also been arrested in the case. They are not suspected of the murder, but of stealing the cars that were used. They were released after questioning by the police, but remain suspects.
