The 80-year-old man from Tilburg, who was arrested last Tuesday for the sexual abuse of a child, is a driver at an after-school care facility (BSO). He was arrested after a report from a passerby. This is stated by a spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service (OM) in Breda on Wednesday morning.
The 80-year-old took the minor victim to an after-school care facility. During the drive to childcare, he is said to have performed sexual acts on the underage victim. The suspect is not related to the victim.
The Public Prosecution Service does not disclose how old the victim is and whether it is a boy or a girl. The 80-year-old was brought before the examining magistrate on Friday. That determined that the man will remain in prison longer.
All parents of children who attend this out-of-school care have been informed.
