Anonymous bomb threat
The MSC Lorena was en route from Senegal to the port of Antwerp on December 21 when Belgian authorities received a bomb threat. The vessel anchored off the coast of Breskens for further investigation.
It wasn’t until a week later that the ship was allowed to set sail for the port of Antwerp under tight security measures. After extensive research, it turned out that there was no explosives were present on the freighter.
