The suspect was arrested on Tuesday and is in custody. A detainee may be detained by the police for a maximum of three days. The examining magistrate can then extend the detention by a maximum of two weeks, release the suspect or release it subject to conditions, such as having to wear an ankle bracelet.
The terms for detention are the same for minors, says a spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service. “But the examining magistrate can take into account that it is a minor.”

Frédérique and her father filed a report together on Wednesday afternoon, a spokesperson for her father said.
