Susan Lenderink: “After five and a half years, I have decided to leave Ajax. An important task during my appointment was to further professionalize the organization. In recent years, we have made enormous steps in strategic planning, the professionalization of our processes, further digitalization and the intended culture change. The foundation has been strengthened and is therefore future-proof. I look back on an intensive but above all beautiful period and am proud of our joint achievements on and off the field. It is a privilege to be part of the most beautiful club in the Netherlands.”
Michael van Praag, chairman of the Supervisory Board: “It is a shame that Susan is leaving Ajax. She has done fantastic work here. We have tried to change her mind. Of course we respect her decision and we can conclude that she has meant a lot to Ajax in the past five and a half years. In addition to her financial tasks, especially when it comes to further professionalizing the organization. She has strengthened the management team from day one, shown leadership and taken responsibility for the organization.
