Scottish singer Susan Boyle (62), known from the singing competition Britain’s Got Talent, has publicly admitted that she suffered a stroke last year, which disabled her speech center. A serious health problem caused her to have to learn to speak and sing again. But she fully demonstrated her comeback at the weekend in the final of the last series of the competition, where she appeared as a guest, writes the British website Page Six.

Susan Boyle took to the stage in the final of Britain’s Got Talent season 16 this Sunday, where she sang the song that made her a singing icon 14 years ago – a track with the title I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Bídníci.

“Hard work and persistence paid off”.

Immediately after her performance on Sunday, she revealed what she had to go through in the last more than a year. “This evening is all the more special for me because I suffered a stroke last April. For the past year I have been working hard to get my speech and singing back, with one goal in mind – to be able to sing on stage again. My hard work and persistence paid off tonight. I sang you the song that started it all,” the woman moved everyone present.

“Susan, we owe you so much and I knew you weren’t well, but if anyone was going to come back, it was you, because it wouldn’t be the same without you.” he responded to the singer’s breathtaking comeback competition judge and creator Simon Cowell (63), who was quoted by the magazine People.

The singer Václav Neckář also faced similar consequences after a stroke in our environment (79). He too had to learn to speak and sing again due to the impairment of the speech center during the stroke. And like the Scottish superstar, he succeeded.

Shopaholicadel described her health problems: I have seizures where I can’t have sharp objects in my reach, she says
