Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh responding to the issue of President Joko Widodo’s impeachment (Jokowi). According to him, now is not the right time to discuss impeachment.
“It’s true that this impeachment issue is not the right time. It’s really a responsibility. It’s a shame,” said Surya Paloh, as reported by detikBaliMonday (22/1/2024).
Currently, said Paloh, what is more important is how to maintain national stability in the political year.
“The point is how do we place the interests of national stability above all other interests,” he explained.
Surya Paloh emphasized that heated political competition must prioritize wise attitudes with a cool head.
“Even though our hearts are hot, our heads are still cold,” he explained.
