PUWAKARTA – One of the survivors revealed the traffic conditions ahead of pileup involving 17 vehicles occurred at KM 92 Cipularang Toll Road, Sukatani, Purwakarta, Sunday (26/6/2022) night.
The survivor, Bayu, said that at that time the traffic was a bit sluggish. Suddenly, from behind came a crashing sound.
“The speed of the road was a bit slow. Suddenly there was a sound from behind. Then it hit a bus. The front was damaged,” he said when interviewed at the scene, Monday (27/6/2022) early in the morning.
He explained that the car he was driving was also affected by the accident. The vehicle stopped after hitting a wall.
“I stopped because I hit the right wall. So I was attached to the bus,” he said.
Bayu admitted that he and the other car passengers were all safe.
“Alhamdulillah, congratulations,” he said.
As is known, in this accident, 4 people were seriously injured. While a number of other victims suffered minor injuries. The victims were rushed to Abdul Rajak and Siloam Hospitals.
