Torches are already being lit and extinguished in the Philippines
During a 90-minute special show, Patrice Bélanger welcomes the 20 players from the second season of Survivor Quebec to give them, from the outset, a major challenge. Having barely arrived in the Philippines, the players, divided into two tribes – Bayani (in blue) and Nawa (in orange) – must already surpass themselves during the first reward event of the season in order to obtain food for their island. The winning tribe leaves with a head start in the game while the losing tribe will have the task more difficult than ever.
Once on their island, players begin building their shelter while building the foundations of their alliances. Barely settled, the tribes face off in an epic first immunity test, which takes players from the crystal clear sea to the shore and which tests their intelligence as much as their physical strength. The fastest tribe wins immunity, while the other is invited to the Tribal Council to vote on the person who is forced to see their torch extinguished.

Immediately afterwards, host Benoît Gagnon, analyst Jean-Thomas Jobin and collaborators Korine Côté and Joël Dandurand — the audience’s favorite player from the last season of Survivor Québec — receive the person eliminated from the first episode in Survivor Québec in overtime.
