The editors took office
This week, the 13th and 14th episodes of Survivor Česko & Slovensko appeared on the Voyo platform. Anyone who managed to watch the 13th episode at the beginning of the week may have noticed another part of the controversial moment in the demonstrations. Moderator Ondřej Novotný literally went to the 29-year-old construction coordinator and athlete Tomáš from the Mao team, formerly Azu, during the fight for tribal immunity.
“It simply came to our notice then! ”Novotný shouted at him after Tomáš probably warned about not following the rules.
However, everyone who watched the 14th episode with excitement and wanted to know why the moderator was annoyed was disappointed. The creators cut out the scene and it won’t appear in the episode at all. Additionally, they deleted it in the 13th episode. They probably realized that Novotný’s reaction was far from professional, and they decided to erase his step. If so many people didn’t have time to see episode 13, they might have succeeded. This is more of a mess, which indicates the bad work of the editors and the creative team.
Keeping emotions in check is sometimes a problem for Novotny
However, this is not the first time that Ondřej Novotný has behaved slightly unprofessionally. He has proved several times with his comments and questions to the competitors that he cannot be completely impartial. Here and there, it is clear from his words and behavior that he is simply closer to some players and further away from others, and the viewer easily gets the impression that he is not measuring the same meter. After all, this translates into fights for immunity.
One torch goes out again
You won’t find a controversial scene on Voyo anymore, and TV Nova won’t broadcast it next week, but you won’t be bored watching new episodes. In the 13th episode, the contestants will play for attractive rewards, and in the 14th, there will be a thrilling battle for tribal and individual immunity. In addition, the competitor who has so far taken care of an interesting spectacle will leave the game. Well, there’s something to look forward to!
