The prosecutor’s office is questioning the owner of the truck with which the illegal immigrants were transported.
The survivors recognized two men who were traveling with them in the truck. One is the detained owner who today reported the vehicle to the police as stolen.
The other man is being sought in a Smolyan village, where inspections and procedural-investigative actions are ongoing.
The truck has commercial registration, and it will still be checked whether its plates are not stolen or scrapped.
