Although it cannot be said that the improved version of survival Ark from the developers from the Wildcard studio has a bed of roses, the authors have apparently moved on from the stormy period and are concentrating on completing the game, or its early access. By that tumultuous period, of course, we mean the information that a remake, subtitled Survival Ascended, will replace the existing Ark: Survival Evolved on the official servers, forcing the developers to buy the title the second time, around which a big case flared up and the community did not spare criticism. The developers later modified some of the points, in particular removing the need to buy Survival Ascended along with the years-old Ark 2, but the aftertaste still remained, and some players still mention that they do not intend to buy the same, albeit technically reworked, game again. Either way, by the end of October – if nothing changes at the last minute – Survival Ascended will arrive in Early Access, and the developers at Wildcard have decided it’s time for the first screenshot.

As you can see, there is no big surprise on it a dinosaur – specifically a raptor – but it definitely seems that the transition to Unreal Engine 5 and the use of all accompanying technologies such as Nanite or Lumen is starting to show in the game’s appearance. Of course, we can mainly talk about the fact that the improvement of a six-year-old game would be visible anyway, but it cannot be said that players would be disappointed by what they see. You might also be wondering why we’re writing about a single image, but the fact remains that over 1.3 million people have already seen it, and regardless of the above-described criticism of the entire approach to the remake, it seems that the Ark community is happy after all.
The question is when exactly the title will arrive, many are tipping Friday, October 27 as one of the earliest dates, if the people from Wildcard want to make it to October, others are just patiently waiting to see if the peek of the dinosaur also means a figurative opening of the floodgates and a stream of other information directly from the developers. But the launch is imminent, with the developers themselves hinting that they “can’t wait for people to play Ark: Survival Ascended,” so it’s possible that we could potentially see it before the end of this week. When Survival Ascended arrives, players can look forward not only to the remake of old familiar things in a better graphical and generally technological guise, but also to new content, a redesigned opening passage, better movement of animals in the environment, a new minimap, a 3rd person camera, a ping system or maybe photo mode so that everyone can take pictures similar to what Wildcard captures in the photo of the raptor.
