Survey on Vaccination Rates in Fernando de la Mora: Assessing Regular Vaccination Scheme for Children Under 5 Years

On the date a survey on the regular vaccination scheme in the city of Fernando de la Mora begins. He will be in charge of the first cohort of trainees from the Field Epidemiology Training Program (PEEC) – Intermediate Level, of the Health Surveillance Directorate. The initiative will be extended until the 25th of this month. The interviewers will be duly identified, carrying a credential from the Ministry of Health.

The objective is to know the percentage of children under 5 years of age in this area of ​​the country who are vaccinated with the doses corresponding to the regular vaccination schedule. Likewise, to know the reasons for non-vaccination of those infants who are not up to date with their vaccines.

According to the schedule, the following neighborhoods of the city will be visited: today, Monday, August 21, the neighborhoods of Central, Residentas, Estanzuela and Orilla del Campo Grande will be visited. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 22, the neighborhoods of Domingo Savio, Laguna Grande, Villa Ofelia and Laguna Sati will be toured, and on Wednesday, August 23, the surveyors will be in the neighborhoods of Pitiantuta and Ita Ka’aguy.

The consultation days will continue on Thursday, August 24 in the neighborhoods of Kokue Guasu and Bernardino Caballero, and on Friday, August 25, in Tres Bocas and San Juan. To this effect, it is important that parents or guardians have the children’s immunization card available at the time of the survey.
