More than half of Germans are dissatisfied with the government’s management of the coronavirus crisis, despite progress in vaccination, easing restrictions and reducing infection rates, according to a new public poll.
According to a recent poll by YouGov, 24% of respondents are “very dissatisfied” and another 30% are “quite dissatisfied” with government action.
Only 6% of respondents are “very satisfied” and another 35% are “quite satisfied” with the government, according to the results. 5% of respondents did not have an opinion.
In the same survey in March, 65% of respondents were dissatisfied with the work of the government, but only 30% were satisfied.
In Germany, a number of restrictions on fully vaccinated people have been lifted since the beginning of May. They can now meet an unlimited number of people and also travel more easily, as they only have to comply with mandatory quarantine when they return if they have visited one of the countries where a new type of virus has spread.
