Survey Finds Majority of Respondents Not Worried About Debt

More than 70% of respondents to our survey of the week are not worried about their level of debt.

In fact, 21% of them quickly settle their account balances even if they have large current expenses. At retirement, 39.1% of respondents have minimal living expenses and have already settled their long-term debts. Finally, 12.3% are sure of not finding themselves in debt since they have neither credit cards nor a mortgage.

However, nearly 30% of people who responded to this survey are worried. For 10.1% of them, it is because they have significant current expenses and long-term financial commitments. What’s more, 5.1% of them are forced to operate more and more on credit, even for essential needs. To avoid this kind of worry, 12.3% of these respondents try to limit their expenses to what is essential.

  • 12,3 % – Yes. But I try to limit my expenses to the essentials. No more unnecessary.
