Talent in the saddle with jockey Pavel Složil unexpectedly won the Great Pardubice. The ten-year-old chestnut horse and coach of coach Hana Kabelková defeated Evžen with Jaroslav Myška in the finish. In third place, Mr Spex took care of another surprise in the saddle with Jan Kratochvíl. After a series of falls, only nine horses out of eighteen reached the finish line of the famous race.

The winning Talent, who was led to the greatest triumph in his career by only 23-year-old Složil Jr., had a odds of 25: 1. He managed the Great Pardubice in a time of 9: 12.79 minutes. Only six times in history it was run faster, Ribelino from 2015 holds the record of 8: 56.01.
