Surprising new coaching name at Anderlecht: ‘Why not?’

Since the dismissal of Brian Riemer, several names have been announced as Anderlecht coach. Mark van Bommel, Karel Geeraerts, Frank Vercauteren and even Hein Vanhaezebrouck are recommended. Philippe Vande Walle now has a pretty amazing name.

The former goalkeeper thinks so Anderlecht he should not attract a foreigner, but someone who has the necessary feeling for the Belgian championship and Anderlecht. That’s why Vande Walle thinks of a player and former coach of the Purple & White.

“Anderlecht foreign trainers should not be looked at. Why? Why don’t you choose a Belgian trainer?” he asked, after which he introduced his dream candidate. “Hugo Broos is an image of Anderlecht.
