May snow surprised the residents of the Rhodope village of Lilkovo.

“Today we have the opportunity to observe the dance of the snowflakes in Lilkovo”, wrote Mariana Dimitrova in the group “Mayor’s Deputy Village Lilkovo, Rhodopi Municipality”. She has also published a short clip on the social network.

Although snow in the spring is not a common occurrence for the highland village, residents recall that in May 2022 there was also a thin layer of snow.
