Original message: The popular multiplayer shooter Valorant will apparently land as a full release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S during the course of this Friday. At least that is what Tom Henderson from Insider GamingAccordingly, the title could hit the consoles sometime in the evening (German time).
- When exactly could the full release come? A time is not specified, but past experience suggests a release around 6 or 10 p.m. probably.

Valorant has been available on PC for over four years, but the free-to-play shooter only came to consoles this summer. A closed beta phase took place in June, and the game then moved into open beta status in July.
If Tom Henderson’s rumor turns out to be true, it would only have taken a few weeks until the full release. We’ll keep you updated and update the article as soon as the full release is confirmed.
By the way, the entry requirements for Valorant are quite low. There are no costs for the Free2Play title (although you do have to pay the obligatory 25 cents on the PS5), and all you need is the console of your choice and a Riot account.

Valorant mixes elements of tactical shooters like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and hero shooters like Overwatch 2. In the matches, teams of five players compete against each other in several rounds. Each person also chooses a class that has a special ability.
Weapons can also be chosen freely and not according to class limitations. As is typical for multiplayer shooters, there are different modes in which you have to defuse or detonate bombs, for example.
