Todesfelde – Five games and five defeats were the result for the SV Todesfelde in the season so far. The promoted team is in the Regional League North not yet arrived. In the previous matches, they paid the price for their mistakes and showed good performances. But something tangible was missing. That should change on Saturday at 6 p.m., because then the Segebergers will be guests of Blau-Weiß Lohne. The Lower Saxony team is in fourth place and is still unbeaten, and in the state cup they defeated table leaders TSV Havelse on penalties to reach the semi-finals. The opponent has not yet been decided, but if they reach the final, they are sure to be in the DFB Cup. Lohne is currently on cloud nine.
“A lot of ball possession is important”
With Tofe you stay calm. Assistant coach Dirk Hellmann says to HL-SPORTS: “Lohne is an extremely strong and reliable team with the ball. They are very good in transition play and always find solutions, presenting challenges to their opponents. That was the topic for us in the video analysis and on the training ground. How can you hurt a team like that? By taking the ball away from them and taking action yourself. We have to play from a compact formation and find a good mix in quick transition play, using the space. A lot of possession is important. The squad has not changed. We are looking forward to the challenge of Lohne and also a long bus ride. We are well prepared and are making a clear attempt to take something tangible with us there.”
