The current Bronco was unveiled in July 2020, bringing back the legendary designation after a 24-year hiatus. Ford thus once again offers a full-size off-road vehicle that competes with the Land Rover Defender and the Jeep Wrangler on the American market.
–
So far, the Bronco has not been officially sold in Europe, but now Ford has confirmed plans to bring it across the Atlantic in limited numbers at the end of 2023. More precise allocation details have not yet been released.
–
The Bronco will arrive in Europe in a full off-road version, not the more lifestyle variant Bronco Sport. It is therefore a car with a frame structure, permanent all-wheel drive, a reduction gearbox and a lock on all three differentials.
–
Under the hood can be a standard four-cylinder 2.3 EcoBoost with an output of 224 kilowatts, 300 hp, or a 2.7-liter six-cylinder with 246 kW, 330 hp. The recently introduced Raptor version received a 3-liter six-cylinder with 311 kW, 417 hp. European specifications Ford will reveal later.
