Surkis: Only Shakhtar players can strengthen Dynamo on the domestic market

Dynamo President Igor Surkis answered a question about the team’s winter transfers on Profutbol Digital.

Let us remind you that the Kiev team finished the first half of the UPL season in fifth place. Now Dynamo is six points behind the leading Krivbass, but has three games in hand.

“I’m ready to strengthen the team, but with players who will really strengthen the team’s play, and not just recruit players for numbers, for show,” said Surkis. “Of course, we will strengthen, but now it is very difficult to strengthen a team like Dynamo with players who would like to come here. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the transfers that the head coach needs take place. We have a very large number of people whom we wanted to invite both before the war and after it began, but not everyone wants to go to Ukraine.

On the domestic market, I don’t see any players other than Shakhtar who could strengthen us. We have young people who should progress and strive for the first team.”
