Today and every day, the Surkis Brothers Foundation continues to help. The main directions of the Fund are assistance to medical institutions, Ukrainian Armed Forces, IDPs and children.
The Foundation donated more than 5 thousand tons of humanitarian aid, food and medical equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The vehicles were provided to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the State Border Service, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate. The total value of the transferred cargo is estimated at millions of dollars.
Also during this time, the Foundation acquired drones, Starlink systems, special vehicles, boats and many other necessary equipment.
In the medical field, the Foundation cooperates with hospitals that help the wounded during military operations. He managed to restore the Invincibility Outpatient Clinic in Gurovshchina and restore the destroyed X-ray department of the hospital in Chernigov. We also provide military field hospitals with medicines, medical equipment and others.
In the first days of the war, children were evacuated from places of hostilities, and the Kashtan kindergarten in Byshevo was restored. We provided communities with generators, provided humanitarian aid to hundreds of orphanages hosting IDPs, and sent 200 tons of water to the Kherson region for people affected by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.
In the spring of 2022, “Dynamo” (Kiev), in collaboration with “1+1 Media”, held 15 Match For Piece matches under the slogan “Match for Peace – Let’s Stop the War”, which allowed to raise about two million euros of financial resources to support Ukraine. Save Ukraine concerts were held, the purpose of which was to raise funds for modern C-arch surgical X-ray machines.
The Foundation tries to quickly provide assistance where there is an urgent need, and will continue to do so until complete Victory.
