After examining the identity papers, the delegate of the Civil Police of Amapá noted that the Surinamese visa and passport had expired, that is to say that he was in an irregular situation in Brazil. He was taken to the Federal Police headquarters so that legal measures could be taken, which could lead to his deportation to his country of origin.
A money laundering investigation
The sum of money and the cell phones of the two arrested were seized. A police investigation into money laundering will be opened, in addition to the ongoing investigation into drug trafficking.
Erivelton Clemente also pointed out that the man carried the identity of an 11-year-old child of whom he claimed to be the father. But the document only contained the name of the mother.
