With the sun, wind and sea waves, the musical association “Surfers To Half Load” goes to the listeners, the main members of which are Stanislavs Judins and Rihards Lepers.
The association was formed in 2021. The idea for this project came from the 2018 Surf Seminar, playing in the sea dunes – for water sports enthusiasts, like-minded people or simply surfers.
Richard says: “Perhaps these moments by the sea and my passion for surfing encouraged me to create something for free-thinking, nature lovers.”
The songs of the musical association “Surfers On a Half Load” are about those moments when we feel true, free and happy. You can catch that feeling by surfing the waves, watching the sunset, waiting for the sunrise or just being in nature – where you feel best and be yourself.
The song “Take Me Up” is just about those moments where you want to be with the person you can surf on one wave with. “
Outstanding Latvian artists such as: guitarist Mārcis auziņš, trumpet player Normunds Piesis and guitarist Svens Wilsons also take part in the song “Take Me With You”. Music and lyricist Richard Leper, arranged by Stanislav Judin.
