Some information about the “Surface Laptop 5”, which is expected to be unveiled at the Surface event next month by Microsoft, has been leaked online.
According to information obtained by retailers from WinFuture, a German media on the 26th (local time), the “Surface Laptop 5” will retain the same design as the previous model and the battery capacity installed in the 13-inch and 15-inch models will also be the same with 47.4 Wh expected.
Some internal specifications have been improved. It is known that 12th generation Intel Elder Lake CPUs such as ▲ Intel Core i5-1235U ▲ Intel Core i7-1255U will be installed inside. The specifications to improve besides the CPU are not yet known.
It is also unclear whether the AMD Surface Laptop 5 platform version will be released in October. “It is increasingly likely that Microsoft will not offer a version of the AMD platform, at least at the time of market launch in October,” the media said.
