Kochi: The complainant in the Suresh Gopi misbehavior case has given a statement to the police. The complainant journalist Shida Jagat gave her statement after reaching Nadakavu police station. The hearing lasted for an hour.
The report says that after recording the statements of witnesses, the police will take steps including the arrest of Suresh Gopi. The complainant will also give a confidential statement before the Thamarassery Chief Judicial Magistrate. The police reached the private hotel in Kozhikode where the incident took place and prepared a police report.
The police filed a case against Suresh Gopi under section 354 A for sexual misconduct.
