ROAD SAFETY ACTION IN YANNENA
Another educational activity for young children’s road safety is organized by the Ioannina Traffic Department, in collaboration with the “Panos Mylonas” Road Safety Institute, which will take place next week (March 27-29) at the premises of the Limnopoula Indoor Gym.
The purpose of this initiative is the presentation and learning of important traffic rules for children on bicycles and skates.
Bicycles and skates, in addition to being children’s favorite toys, are often also their means of transportation.
But how much do children know to drive properly and safely? What equipment should they bring? Does the Road Traffic Code normally also apply to cyclists and roller skaters?
Our little friends will get answers to these and many more useful questions in a fun way, while pleasant surprises await them at the end!
It is noted that this specific action, which is aimed at 5th and 6th grade students of elementary schools in the Ioannina basin, is being carried out under the auspices of the Panepirot National Sports Center of Ioannina (PEAKI), the Civil Protection of Region of Epirus and “Nea Odos SA”.
