Surabaya (beritajatim.com) – Applicants for the 2024 Election Voting Committee (PPS) candidates are invited to immediately complete the requirements that have not gone through the KPU member information system and ad hoc agency (Siakba) accounts. This is important. This is because the requirements uploaded by the candidates will become an inseparable part of the administrative search.
KPU Surabaya, Division of Socialization of Voter Education, Community Participation and Human Resources (Sosdiklih Parmas SDM) Commissioner Subairi said that as of the opening of registrations on Sunday (12/18/2022), till now there are still many registered for the PPS Candidates for 2024 election who limited to register only through Siakba.
“But there are still applicants who have not taken the next step which is to attach the required documents to Siakba,” Subairi said on Tuesday (27/12/2022).
Bairi, as he is called, has called on applicants to immediately complete the requirements, such as attaching a letter of registration, an electronic ID card and a health certificate that includes blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. “We are urging that the requirements for applicants be completed immediately so that we can later review the files during the administrative search period,” he said.
Bairi explained that his party could not check the file when the PPS registered candidate requirements for the 2024 election had not been uploaded in full. Also, her group still has to make fixes one by one, as to which files really need to be fixed or not.
Bairi added, if there is a need for repairs, the Siakba operator will automatically notify. For example, if a health certificate is incomplete, the applicant is asked to complete the relevant conditions immediately.
“This is why the required documents can be declared complete and the physical evidence immediately submitted to the Surabaya City KPU office, Jalan Adityawarman 87 Surabaya,” Bairi explained.
“Well, if you think the uploaded requirements are complete and there are no problems, don’t forget to click the register button. This is to ensure that the registrant has registered through Siakba,” he continued.
In addition, Bairi revealed that the 2024 election PPS training schedule has undergone changes. One of them, the schedule for registration acceptance which was originally from December 18-27, 2022, has changed to December 18-30, 2022. “This is good news for registrants, because the registration allotment has been increased three days,” Bairi said.
Likewise with the administration research period, it will automatically change. That is to say, from 19 December 2022 to 2 January 2023. During the administrative inspection process, registrants are also regularly asked to monitor their respective email and Siakba accounts. Because if there are conditions that are fixed, you will be notified via a notification.
“With the change in plans, we hope that the number of entries for the 2024 election PPS will also increase. This is because the time allotment has also increased,” he said.
Meanwhile, Naufal, one of the 2024 election PPS registrants from Tegalasari village/district, said he has already registered through Siakba. He considered, there are no obstacles and quite practical. Registrants do not have to stand in long lines to register and collect files. Just click on Siakba, the registration is done online and it’s easier.
“Incidentally, already registered, just waiting for the check of the registration file. There are no problems and everything runs smoothly, just click on the Siakba application,” she concluded.
As known, there are 459 people for the 2024 election PPS in Surabaya city. Specifically, each is 3 PPS members multiplied by 153 sub-districts. This number is small from previous 2019 election data, due to the merger of sub-districts. Namely, North Perat and East Perak sub-districts were merged to become Tanjung Perak sub-district in Surabaya. [asg/suf]
