Surabaya Health Office Urges Clean and Healthy Lifestyle to Prevent Singapore Flu Outbreak

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA – Surabaya Health Service (Dinkes), East Java, appealed to everyone in the local city to continue to follow a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) . This is considered important to prevent infection, one of which is the Singapore flu.

Similarly, if a red, white or gray rash appears that does not itch or looks like a small lump, the same measures must be taken.

“Then stomach pain, cough and loss of appetite,” he said.

Based on data from the local Health Office, in the period between January and April 2024 there have been reports of 61 cases Singapore flu symptoms in Surabaya. Dozens of reports came in from health facilities in Surabaya through the Early Warning and Response System (SKDR) application.
