Surabaya City Government Must Have a Map of Dengue Fever Prone Areas

GenPI.co East Java – Deputy Chairman of Commission D of the Surabaya City DPRD, Ajeng Wirawati, reminded that the city government would immediately conduct a mapping to determine the level of vulnerability of an area exposed to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).

“The Surabaya City Government must be able to map out which villages are vulnerable to dengue fever, so that it can be handled quickly,” explained Ajeng, Thursday (27/1).

The municipal government, he said, has a program to eradicate the problem of dengue fever.

The Gerindra Party politician hopes that his existence will be maximized, namely by picking up the ball to the village.

As soon as there are findings of dengue fever patients can be immediately handled by being taken to the nearest health center.

“Including, Jumantik’s women who are in charge of eradicating mosquito larvae in the village, this also needs to be optimized again,” he added.

He also asked the city government to actively carry out fumigation or fogging to community service.

Measures to prevent the emergence of such early dengue fever are needed.
