Supreme Court rejects bail plea of Pulsar Suni in actress assault case

New Delhi: The Supreme Court rejected the bail plea filed by main accused Pulsar Suni in the actress assault case. Justices Ajay Rastogi, Bela M. The petition was dismissed by a bench consisting of Trivedi. Prominent Mumbai lawyer Sana Raees Khan, who is appearing for Indrani Mukherjee in the Sheena Bora murder case, appeared in the Supreme Court today on behalf of Pulsar Suni.

Pulsar Suni’s demand was that the trial of the case is not likely to be completed soon and therefore bail should be granted. Meanwhile, Justices Ajay Rastogi and Bela M. have read the statement of Atijeetha in the case and Suni is not eligible for bail. Trivedi pointed out. The bench headed by Justice Ajay Rastogi took the same stand when it heard Pulsar Suni’s bail plea earlier.

The argument of Sana Raees Khan, Sriram Palgad and MS Vishnu Shankar, who appeared for Pulsar Suni, was that the trial in the case was going on endlessly and therefore bail should be granted. Indrani Mukherjee, who was in jail for a long time in the Sheena Bora case, was granted bail by the Supreme Court when Sana Raees Khan was present. Sana Raees Khan is a prominent lawyer appearing in high profile criminal cases.
