FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Finally ten employees of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemdigi) who were involved in online gambling (judol), received maximum sanctions. He was fired as an employee.
The dismissal of ten Komdigi employees who were suspected of judol was given by the Minister of Communications and Digital (Menkomdigi), Meutya Hafid. He revealed that his party had sacked the judol worker.
He said the dismissal of the employee was partly based on the identification of a suspect by Polda Metro Jaya.
“(10 employees) have been dismissed,” said Meutya at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), South Jakarta, as reported by jawapos, Thursday (14/11).
Meutya said nothing more about this break. He handed over the legal case completely to the Polda Metro Jaya. “If we don’t have the legal case, it’s up to us (to fire),” he explained.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya had named 18 suspects in an online gambling case involving employees of the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komdigi). The suspects have been arrested in turn since they started with 11 people arrested.
“So far, 18 people have been named as suspects,” Polda Metro Jaya Head of Public Relations, Kombes Ade Ary Syam told journalists, Monday (11/11).
These 18 people consisted of 10 Komdigi employees and 8 civilians. Recently, two people with the initials MN and DM were arrested who fled abroad.
“10 Komdigi personnel and 8 civilians,” Ade explained.
So far, of the 18 suspects, only 6 have been identified. They are A, AK, AJ, A, MN and DM. Meanwhile, the other 12 have not been identified by the police. (morning)
