The candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of Lampung, Arinal Djunaidi-Sutono, with the support of the PDI Perjuangan, visited Lampung KPUD. Without any parade, the couple registered with the Lampung KPUD.

Dressed in black, the two of them arrived at the Lampung Provincial KPU Office together with PDI-P officials and were greeted by several KPU administrators.

In his speech, Arinal Djunaidi expressed his confidence in winning the battle in the Lampung gubernatorial election. He also expressed his gratitude to the General President of PDI-P, Megawati, who gave the recommendation as a candidate for Lampung governor.

“I would like to thank the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo and the President-elect of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo, and whom we respect and are proud of, the 5th President, A Mrs. . Megawati as well as the general president of the PDIP, to whom we gave this opportunity to be one of the gubernatorial candidates 2024-2029,” he said, Thursday (29/8/2024).

Arinal also said that together with Sutono, he would continue with his work program while he was the Governor of Lampung.

“In principle, the good work program will continue. Then a new work program will be added for the people of Lampung,” he explained.

Sutono said that the work program that will be added to the work program of Arinal as the Governor of Lampung is to collaborate with the work program of the central government in the Prabowo – Gibran administration.

“In terms of the vision and the intention, of course it is explained in which direction, we will accelerate the achievement of a proper, rich and prosperous Lampung society. We already know that Mr. Prabowo will be the President of the time future and that Mr. Gibran will be the president.
