Operating in the field of associative comics, fanzines and micro-publishing, Speech bubbles has participated in the active life of the sequential arts in Lorraine for about twenty years now. The former editorial staff had repeatedly followed up on several publications such as Bertrand Keufterian and we ourselves had received the author Guillaume Matthias (Zone 57) as part of our show SuperFriends – then still hosted on the site. For the twenty years (!) of existence of the association, Speech bubbles appeals to its public and its future public even with a special operation to discover now.

Thus, with the aim of financing an attendance – and a stand – at the next International Comic Strip Festival of Angoulême, the association Speech bubbles launched a crowdfunding campaign. Only the authors being paid for their comic strips, the rest of the association works on a principle of voluntary work; gold, a stand at FIBD costs a certain sum (and for having been there with Bubble, it is not given). Thus, the campaign launched this week on KissKissBankBank is carried out with the aim of being able to return to Angoulême by next winter.
On the rewards program? Quite simply the numerous albums published by the authors of the association – some of which have an assumed affiliation with the comics register and genre comic strips, such as Zone 57, HBV or Ecko & Ashor the fanzine Not? Yes! used from the beginning by Phylactères to publish many young authors. The prices of the counterparts are more than affordable in view of the market and for some will be dedicated.
