The president of the Migrant Stay González y Martínez AC., (EMGM), Martín Martínez Ríos requested the support of the population to donate blankets and warm clothing for migrants crossing through the municipality of Tequisquiapan, given the Adverse weather conditions those they face during their trip to the northern border.

He mentioned that this collection of clothing and blankets takes place in December, however, the weather conditions that have been occurring in recent weeks caused the humanitarian assistance organization to start with the collection of these samebecause this weekend when the drop in temperatures and light rains began in the region, they requested this type of support near 500 migrants.

“In recent years we started in November because in December and January the cold is very harsh in several states where they pass, on this occasion what we are looking for is that they can protect themselves a little but from the rains because this year there are more but not only here in the center of the country but in many states where they pass and which is their route.”

Martínez Ríos commented that those interested in donating this type of clothing or blankets You can do it at the facilities of the old Bernal station in Tequisquiapana place where he said that all undocumented immigrants who cross through this place are cared for.
