Do you want to ride a tandem sulky with one of the world’s best drivers, get a VIP day at Solvalla and receive a signed t-shirt with the Prix d’Amérique horse San Moteur?
Then you can bid on Tradera – and support Musikhjälpen.
– It feels good to both draw attention to Musikhjälpen and collect money for an important cause, says Björn Goop.
Musikhjälpen’s collection runs between 11 and 17 December.
This year, the programme, which is a joint initiative of Sveriges Radio, SVT and Radiohjälpen, is broadcast from Stortorget in Växjö under the theme “No one should have to die of hunger”.
Now Svensk Travsport, ATG and Solvalla are making a joint effort for Musikhjälpen 2023. Together with Björn Goop, an auction is being arranged at Tradera for the benefit of Musikhjälpen’s collection.
Bidding, which at the time of writing (Friday 14:00) is up to SEK 10,500, ends at 23:58 Sunday 17 December.
“Now we help each other”
If you stand as the winner then?
Yes, then you get to do a tandem trot with Björn Goop for a day at Solvalla in Stockholm. In addition to the chance to drive a horse together with the top driver, Solvalla offers a VIP experience with dinner, the opportunity to look behind the scenes at the stable hill and also ride in the starting car when the horses are let off.
Also included is a signed idol shirt on the star horse San Moteur, who will start in the French Grand Prix d’Amerique on January 28.
– It feels good to draw attention to Musikhjälpen and collect money for an important cause, says Björn Goop in a press release.
– Björn Goop is a fantastic ambassador for the sport of trotting and his feats with San Moteur involve the whole of Sweden. Now we help each other and hope that the commitment around them contributes to fighting one of the great crises of our time – hunger, says Maria Croon, CEO of Swedish Trotting Sport.
