WARTAKOTALIVE.COM – National Workers Union (SPN) throughout Indonesia expressed support for Ganjar Pranowo to become President in 2024.
The statement of support for the 2024 President Ganjar Pranowo was delivered after holding the SPN IV National Assembly (Majenas) at the Lombok Garden Hotel, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
“For and on behalf of the National Workers’ Union or SPN, I hereby declare support for Mr. Ganjar Pranowo as President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024,” said DPP SPN General Chairperson Djoko Heriyono in a press release, on Wednesday (8/3/2023).
According to Djoko, this statement of support is one of the efforts of the SPN organization politically to support the birth of legal reforms including job security, income certainty, and social security certainty.
Not only at working age, Djoko said that the certainty must be guaranteed for life by the government.
“From being in the womb, then giving birth, to toddlers, then entering school age, to working age, to retirement, to death, (the government) is here to help all Indonesian people. Don’t let anyone not get social protection or protection. social,” he said.
Djoko emphasized that SPN believes that Ganjar Pranowo is a leader capable of fighting for universal social security for life.
According to Djoko, Ganjar Pranowo’s alignment with workers can be realized nationally.
So that all levels of society get job security, income security, up to social security.
“Yes (Ganjar Pranowo) is fighting for legal reform related to employment, because that is in our interest. If we support this, we do bring in political faculties, and our interests are for labor workers so that they can be realized through Mr. Ganjar,” he said.
In this political stance, SPN is collaborating with Rewards for Fighting Workers (GBB) to realize the best concept of the world of employment and industrial relations in the future.
Especially the matter of work, income, and social security throughout life for the whole community.
“In the momentum of the presidential election and supporting Pak Ganjar, we will collaborate to organize an industrial relations deliberation forum”
