Nicosia Marathon Raises Funds for Pediatric Cancer Treatment
(Nicosia, Cyprus) – Runners from across Cyprus laced up their shoes and pounded the pavement Sunday in the annual Nicosia Marathon, raising vital funds for a cause close to many hearts: pediatric cancer treatment.
The event, organized by the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia, aimed to purchase crucial equipment for the Service Pediatric Oncology. The marathon’s theme, "We Run to Victory with Our Heroes," resonated deeply with participants who ran not only for personal achievement but also to support young patients battling serious illness.
"The marathon organized by Nicosia Turkish Municipality this year, like every year, was again a very meaningful cause," stated Capital Group, a major sponsor of the event.
