Oberhausen. Current crowd projects focus on children

Whether a new room for the severely disabled Robin, a cozy place to read for the children of the Bismarck School or school satchels for needy first graders in Oberhausen: The current projects on the Oberhausen Crowd, the crowdfunding platform of Energieversorgung Oberhausen AG (evo), speak the heart for children.

So you can donate for a few days for the multiple handicapped Robin. His family needs the collected money to set up a new kingdom for Robin on the ground floor of his home. There he will be able to develop much more freely and his mother and brother will not have to go to great lengths to carry Robin to the first floor. Because: Robin himself cannot walk. Even if the project has already reached 100 percent for Robin, every euro counts to make his new room even more beautiful and to optimally adapt it to his needs. The project was initiated by Oberhausen hilft e. V.

Even if it is not yet clear whether teaching will take place in schools or at home, first graders will definitely start school again after the summer vacation. Equipping it with a knapsack, case, gym bag and everything else that goes with it is an expensive affair that some parents simply cannot afford. The fundraising association “running4charity eV” and its first chairman, Jörg Marquardt, have started a great crowd project: the money raised will be used to equip needy first graders with their own school bags. In 2019 and 2020, the association gave around 400 I-males from Oberhausen their own knapsack.

Another great project for kids was recently started by the school association of the Bismarckschule Oberhausen eV It would like to create a cozy place for the children of the Bismarckschule to read and relax. For this purpose, a room is to be converted into a reading oasis. The special thing about it: The children are involved in the planning process at an early stage and decide for themselves about the color scheme, furniture, plants and other design.

In addition to these beautiful projects, evo recently had something else to celebrate: after the successful completion of their “LEBENSmittel” project, Oberhausener Tafel e. V. buy an urgently needed new car. What evo particularly honors: The new vehicle is adorned with a sticker from the Oberhausen crowd!

“To see our crowd logo on the vehicle of the board is a great appreciation. We are really moved ”, said Ronja Gloger, employee of evo and responsible for the Oberhausen crowd, about the gesture. “I hope that even more people will become aware of our crowd and that even more great projects and ideas can then be put into practice.”
