TEPEJI DEL RÍO, Hgo.- The Municipal government initiated a program of accompaniment and monitoring of COVID-19 patients. In the Municipal DIF facilities, a COVID-19 module was enabled in which citizens who are diagnosed with this disease may request the loan of an oximeter and the accompaniment of the patient and their family and, if necessary, management will be sought to medical transfer.
The request for accompaniment, reported the mayor’s office, can be requested through a third person from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and in case they do not have family network support, it can be done by phone at 773 733 5029 and DIF staff will come to your home. The requirements are to present the medical diagnosis, proof of address and INE credential.
In addition to information on medical treatment, they are provided, on loan, with an oximeter, which is a device that allows measuring the oxygenation levels of a person, since the disease can cause pneumonia, and serious damage to the lungs, therefore that monitoring makes it possible to determine if it is necessary to transfer him to a hospital, so that his health is not complicated and his life is saved.
