The American music scene has lost a promising singer. In a tragic accident, the life of only 23-year-old Willie Spence went extinct. Last year, the American Idol contest, known to Czech viewers as SuperStar, made him famous.
The finalist of last year’s American Idol singing show, who ended up singing in second place, is dead. Willie Spence died in a car accident, the portal reported TMZ.
The tragedy occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Spence was on his way home to Atlanta from Tennessee. For an as yet unknown reason, he crashed into a truck parked on the side of the road. He died instantly from his injuries.
“We are devastated by the news of the death of a beloved member of our family, Willie Spence. He was incredibly talented and lit up every room he walked into. We will all miss him. Our deepest condolences to his family,” reads the twitter competition, known to the Czechs as SuperStar.
The exact circumstances of the singer’s death are being examined by the police.
