The MC20 model was officially introduced on Wednesday evening, and it must be said that, given its denial, it is an Italian Maserati, which is, however, somewhat more authentic than before.

In the middle is a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.0 liters and two turbochargers with 630 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. In addition, it has taken over pre-chamber combustion technology from Formula 1 cars, and double injection is also available.

Power will be supplied to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission directly to the rear wheels using a self-locking differential. Thanks to this, the supersport MC20 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / in a respectable 2.9 seconds and travels up to 325 km / h.

As a second option, customers will have a choice of a purely electric motor. Maserati didn’t say much about it, but so far we know that it can reach 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 310 km / h. The range will reportedly be around 323 kilometers.

But the MC20 is not just an engine. The Italians took great care to look modern while referring to the traditional look. After all, it can be seen right in the radiator grille with a typical trident. On the contrary, elegant are elegant square LED headlights. Upside-down doors, recessed door handles and beautiful 20-inch wheels also work great. A roofless version is expected to arrive in the future.

The interior will be dominated by carbon fiber and Alcantara. Traditional alarm clocks on the dashboard have been replaced by a display. The second, a ten-inch, then received an infotainment system.
