In his Instagram post, the actor said that everything happened this past Friday, when he was at home and out of nowhere he fell unconscious. He later woke up in the hospital and that was when he found out the seriousness of what had happened to him: “You won’t believe this! Yesterday I was on my way to a date when I collapsed in the kitchen. Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from the dead four times,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself in bed. of a hospital.
The 59-year-old actor explained that he was diagnosed with a total blockage of the left anterior descending artery, a condition that is also known as “widow” and that arises when blood cannot move through the artery.
Mark also assured that if it were not for his wife and the medical team that cared for him, it is very likely that he would not be alive at this point: “If it were not for my wife and the incredible staff at St. Joseph’s, I would not be writing this “My chances of survival were practically zero,” he added.
