Supermodel Tatiana Patitz has died at the age of 56, Vogue reported.
Patitz was born in Hamburg in 1966, but grew up in Switzerland. At the age of 17, she won third place in a modeling contest and she moved to Paris, where she began working as a model. By 1985 she was already known in the industry and had a cover for British Vogue.
He began working with photographer Peter Lindbergh, with whom he collaborated several times in the following years.
“I admire Tatiana, she always remains herself,” Lindbergh wrote in her book.
In the 80s, Tatiana appeared in the French and Italian editions of Vogue, Elle and many others. You have worked with photographers such as Irving Penn, Helmut Newton and Steven Meisel. She is considered one of the first names in the group of supermodels.
