Witan Sulaeman shine together AS Trencin in the Slovak Cup. Star Indonesian national scored and led his team to win against Spartak Myjava.
The round of 16 of the Slovak Cup brought together AS Trencin va Spartak Myjava. The duel took place at the na Sihoti stadium, Trencin, Wednesday (9/11/2022) in the early hours of the WIB morning.
Witan did not start as a starter in the match. Trencin won 2-0 in the first half thanks to goals from Chinonso Emeka and Rahim Ibrahim.
The hosts added another goal in the 9th minute of the second half through Eynel Domingos Rocha Soares. Witan Sulaeman enters the field in the 58th minute for Matu Kmet.
Witan’s presence added to Trencin’s pounding power. The 21-year-old player put his name on the scoreboard in the 78th minute.
Receiving a pass from Dominik Holly, Witan bypassed the defenders and Spartak goalkeeper Myjava before slamming the ball into the net. AS Trencin lead 4-0.

Luka Duriska added another goal for Trencin three minutes later. The match was completed for Marian Zimen’s team who won 5-0 over Spartak Myjava and qualified for the quarter-finals.
Witan Sulaeman he has indeed performed well since signing a two-season contract with AS Trencin in August 2022. The former Lechia Gdansk has racked up 4 goals in 14 games in all competitions.
