GP Las Vegas 2024, Mercedes: the words of Toto Wolff
“We are excited about our return to Las Vegas. F1 put on an incredible show last year and the sight of the cars hurtling down the Strip at night was one of the highlights of the season“.
Il Nevada at night kept teams on their toes when it came to maximizing performance last season. The circuit of Strip he also held i fan with bated breath as the single-seaters jostled to gain position. No 2023 GP has had more overtaking than Las Vegas: 72.
“The circuit and environmental conditions presented a fascinating challenge for both drivers and teams, as well as creating exciting racing and a thrilling Grand Prix. I am confident that this year’s event will be an even greater success and will build on the continued growth, interest and success of our sport in the United States“.
In the run-up to the race, Toto Wolff was able to test the circuit together with some sponsor representatives on board one Mercedes-AMG GTR. Here are his feelings:
“The opportunity to drive such an iconic piece of such an iconic track in a high-powered Mercedes-AMG GT R was one I couldn’t refuse. I was lucky enough to take some of our partners on fast laps of the track and it was an experience that I, and I hope they too, will not forget“.

Gp Las Vegas 2024 – What prospects for the triple header for Mercedes?
Hat-tricks are a real challenge for an F1 team, and three weeks on the road working at the highest level can take a very high mental and physical toll. After two weeks of work in the factory, however, the team is ready to start off on the right foot for the final push: Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
“We head to Las Vegas ready for the final races of the season,” said Toto. “We are focused on finishing this year as strong as possible and providing some more highlights as we close out 2024. We can’t wait for the triple header. To end our incredible journey with Lewis on a high note and to build momentum for 2025“.
There is an air of demobilization in Mercedes, a team that no longer has anything to ask of this 2024 and which is already totally projected towards the future, which will already begin with the post-season tests of Abu Dhabi.
