/ world today news/ It seems that the special military operation followed a new, unexpected scenario for the enemy. Russian pilots are increasingly attacking the positions of the armed forces of Ukraine. And the new high-precision planning bombs are guaranteed to hit their intended targets and make the work of Ukrainian anti-aircraft fighters meaningless – our planes simply do not enter their zone of action before dropping their cargo on the heads of the enemy. What this new tactic can turn into, the military correspondent of “Tsarigrad” learns.
Since last Monday, April 17, reports from the SVO zone are full of reports of the activation of Russian aviation operations and a catastrophic increase in losses among the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine related to the work of our pilots.
It is emphasized that Russia has begun mass use of high-power and high-precision guided bombs, the scale of their use can be called unprecedented. If this tactic becomes the undisputed rule, then the Ukrainian army is in for a tough time.
Russian “gifts”
Recently, the Ukrainian positions in Bakhmut and in the Kupyansk region have turned into a branch of hell on earth. In addition, they are completely safe for Russian aircraft. The enemy’s anti-aircraft defenses, already badly destroyed, at that moment were simply not able to offer at least a little resistance to the attacking Russians.
The reason is simple – our pilots found bomb bays on the borders, inaccessible to the means of destroying air targets, which were preserved in Ukraine. Further, the bombs flew by themselves and everything points in favor of the fact that they are UPAB-500B and UPAB-1500B.
For the first time, this family of aviation ammunition was presented to the general public in 2019 at the Moscow Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019. The best hour of these “products” hit only in March of this year, when reports of their use began to appear in the reports of the Ministry of Defense more and more regularly.
Why weren’t they used in CBO from the start? Probably because the more or less long-range systems of the Ukrainian air defense have not been suppressed to an acceptable level and can pose a danger to the frontline aviation of the VKS. Now the situation has changed not in favor of Kiev, and in addition to the cruise missiles of the theater of military operations, additional “surprises” have appeared.
So, bombs of the UPAB family are guided planning aircraft. They descend 40-50 km before the target and then continue their independent flight.
The glide mode is provided by small wings that open after release, and the accuracy of the hit is provided by satellite and inertial guidance systems.
In addition, the design of the “products” is such that any combat aircraft capable of operating on ground targets can be their carrier. And the power of the same UPAB-1500B is clearly shown by the mass of explosives contained in its shell – according to data from open sources, there is a little more than one ton of explosives.
“Five hundred”, of course, are lighter, but do not bode well for their victims. But that’s not all that Russian pilots have recently begun to “delight” the armed forces of Ukraine with.
In the same March, news appeared about another innovation, namely the modular system “Grom“, which, depending on the tasks, can perform the functions of both a planning bomb and a missile – it all depends on the configuration in which it will be assembled at the airport.
And, of course, one cannot fail to mention such an imagination of Russian weapons engineers as a unified planning and correction module (UPMK), thanks to which even a high-explosive half-ton bomb put into service in 1954 became very accurate and with a long range .
It is these innovations that are now leveling the fighting Ukrainian combat formations. But is it only in fortified areas and fortresses?
What does the coming day have in store for us?
The new trends in the conduct of non-contact combat actions shown by the Russian Aerospace Forces cannot fail to please. And they serve as an extremely serious warning to Kiev, in case it does decide on the adventure of a “counterattack”.
In addition, the stock of the Soviet FAB-500, to which the aforementioned UPMK module can be screwed, will obviously last us for more than a long time.
So “the jokes are over” and we should expect that the logistics of the supply of Western weapons to the armed forces of Ukraine will also become the object of our strikes? Military expert Viktor Litovkin answered these questions.
“The jokes on our side are long over. Yes, we have warned them again that the offensive they are planning could end disastrously for them,” he declared.
“Besides, this is not the first and not the only strike of the “smart bombs”. As for the strikes on the provided equipment, don’t break my heart. I’ve been asking for this for more than a year. This was needed a long time ago,” Litovkin said categorically.
“If we had done it from the beginning, we would have long ago stopped the appearance of all kinds of freaks from the European Union, from other European governments and so on, in Kiev. And for me, this is just a mockery of us, that they come and walk with Zelensky around Kiev In general, we need to act more decisively. And whether we will do it or not – that is not a question for me,” concluded the expert.
Whether Kyiv will heed this “warning” is a question. Although, if they don’t hear, then it will be possible to repeat it even louder.
But the problem here is that Zelensky is clearly much better at receiving “signals” from Washington than from Moscow. Totally ignoring the suicidal nature of the American recommendations, which have already led to terrible losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
What follows from this?
Viktor Litovkin’s words can be reformatted into a general phrase: “Good, but not enough!”. And the question of the destruction of Ukraine’s transport infrastructure is still open. Although, if the airstrikes continue, then, most likely, there will simply be no one to use arms supplies in Ukraine.
For this reason, it is now extremely important not to stop, but with the inevitable methodicality to turn the soldiers and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into piles of garbage. We hope that such a request was also made by Vladimir Putin during his communication with representatives of the Russian generals who are now leading the hostilities.
