Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Production house Warner Bros. released the latest trailer for the film Wonder Woman 1984 through their YouTube channel. Apart from Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, the trailer also shows a villain named Barbara Minerva aka Cheetah.

The trailer opens with some of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) ‘past and present acts. He used one of his weapons, the lasso of truth, to hang on the lightning in the sky.

The scene was followed by another scene featuring the character Barbara Minerva (Kristen wiig). He appeared to be wearing casual clothes, not wearing clothes like a cheetah.

“I don’t want to be like everyone else. I want to be the top predator,” said Barbara.

In another scene, Barbara is seen wearing cheetah print clothes in one room with Wonder Woman. Without further ado he immediately jumped up and attacked Wonder Woman.

Not only that time, Barbara returned to face Wonder Woman on another occasion. But this time he had completely transformed into a cheetah, complete with claws, fangs and a tail.

In the comics, there are four different humans who turn into Cheetahs. They are Priscilla Rich, Deborah Domaine, Barbara Ann Minerva, and Sebastian Ballesteros.

The cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984 is a change in form from Barbara Ann Minerva. The character first appeared in the comic Wonder Woman Vol. 2 # 7 (1987).

Minerva is told as an archaeologist from England. He conducted research in Africa until he met one of the tribes where there was a woman with the power of a cheetah.

After gaining power, Cheetah is obsessed with possessing weapons that Wonder Woman has, such as the lasso of truth. Of course, it’s not easy to grab one of Wonder Woman’s weapons.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on October 2. Previously, the film had two delays in release, from June 5 to August 14 and from August 14 to October 2.
