The Indycar premiere ended in a great Swedish success. The star Marcus Ericsson secured the victory in Florida after a huge drama during the final stage of the competition.
Ericsson battled with Pato O’Ward for the win – and with three laps to go he was able to pass.
O’Ward had problems with the car, Ericsson overtook and was able to claim a win in the premiere.
– It has been a really good weekend. We chased him down and put pressure and then things happen. I am very proud. It was a really good start to the season, says Ericsson in Viaplay.
This is the Swede’s fourth victory in Indycar. He is doing his fifth season in the context.
